Another first for Seattle
CityPASS celebrates 21 years next June

Posted October 31st 2017 in Latest News, News and Updates,

CityPASS is the best way to introduce a first-timer to the attractions of Seattle. Four of the seven attractions are on the Seattle Center campus, whilst another two are an easy walk away at the waterfront.

CityPASS  Admission Includes

1. Space Needle
2. Seattle Aquarium
3. Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour
4. Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP)   or   Woodland Park Zoo
5. Chihuly Garden and Glass   or   Pacific Science Center

Choosing five of these seven attractions in a compact area makes a brilliant focus for a couple of days in Seattle. This also gives the visitor time to orientate themselves and appreciate the multitude of other options which the City offers.

In June 1997, Seattle and San Francisco became the first North America destinations to offer CityPASS.  Ten further destinations have followed this Pacific coast lead. It provides a range of the top attractions at a discount of up to 50% off the price of purchasing individually. Always innovating, Seattle CityPASS includes the Space Needle and Aquarium, both of which are undergoing incredible rebirths.

The Space Needle’s $100 million Century Project will reinvent both the Observation Deck and restaurant level, launching visitors into a 360 degree odyssey. The renovation aims to reveal the historic tower’s internal structure and harken back to the original concept, enhanced by an extravaganza of breathtaking glass. This stunning development can be viewed in detail on special website See Whats Up – Space Needle.

Seattle Aquarium’s own $100 million transformation comprises a new multi-story “Ocean Pavilion” The scintillating circular building, with paths twisting around a large, central tank leading to a roof deck, will be adjacent to the existing facility on Piers 59 and 60.
